To mark Lithuanian Constitution Day and European Law Day, Lithuanian courts invite residents to participate in the traditional initiative "You Ask – We Answer!". During the event, members of the public will have the opportunity to speak directly with judicial assistants and receive answers to relevant general legal questions.

On October 23, residents are welcome at participating courts: Kaunas Regional Court, as well as Tauragė, Marijampolė, Panevėžys, Klaipėda, and Alytus District Courts. Consultations will be held on a first – come, first – served basis; no prior registration is required.

The initiative aims to contribute to public legal education, increase public awareness of their rights and duties, and help better understand legal issues arising in various everyday situations.

Every year, the event receives significant public interest. Residents are most often interested in various daily legal matters: inheritance, divorce and division of property, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, debt recovery, child support awards, compensation for damages, enforcement of court decisions, consumer rights, land and real estate leases, utility bill compensations, and other relevant legal situations.
