Students invited to participate in the "Day with a Judge" project
This year, the now-traditional project "Day with a Judge" once again invites students from all over Lithuania to step where important decisions are made every day – into Lithuanian courts. This is a unique opportunity to see up close what a judge's work actually looks like, what challenges are faced in daily activities, and what responsibility judges carry when making decisions.
Have you ever wondered how a judge's day begins? How much time does it take to prepare for a hearing? How is evidence analyzed and decisions made? By registering for the project, you will have the chance not only to observe the court process but also to speak with a judge, ask questions, and hear various stories.
This year, even more courts across Lithuania have joined the project, providing an opportunity to participate not only for law students but also for students of other disciplines who are interested in how the legal system works and what roles specialists from different fields play within it.
Do not miss the chance to become a part of the court's daily routine for at least one day; perhaps this is the first step toward your professional future.
How to participate?
- From February 23 to February 27, fill out the registration form;
- From March 2 to March 6, wait for an invitation to arrive at the court (efforts will be made to invite everyone interested, depending on availability);
- From March 9 to March 20, visit your chosen court and experience a "Day with a Judge" in person.
Fill out the registration form HERE.
