Panevėžys Regional Court has granted the prosecutor's application and extended the preventive measure – detention in custody – imposed on Justina Sadauskienė for another three months. The woman remains in custody until January 21, 2027.

In the ruling adopted today regarding the suspect Justina Sadauskienė, the court noted that the grounds for detention specified by the prosecutor have not ceased to exist. In the court's assessment, if at liberty, the woman may flee, hide from justice, obstruct the proceedings, and commit new criminal offenses.

On October 14, the court also adopted a ruling regarding another suspect – Vilius Solkanas. His remand in custody was likewise extended for three months – until January 21, 2027, after concluding that the suspect may flee, hide from justice, and reoffend.

The rulings of Panevėžys Regional Court may be appealed to the Court of Appeal of Lithuania within 20 days.
