By decree of the President of the Republic of Lithuania, Kristina Latožienė, a judge of the Panevėžys Regional Court, has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Criminal Cases Division of this court.

Congratulating the new head of the division, the court's president, Donatas Jatužis, thanked Judge K. Latožienė for her readiness to undertake such responsible duties and wished her successful leadership. "I'm glad you dared to take this responsible step. You know the team well and have our full support, so I wish you courage as a leader in making important decisions and wisdom in implementing changes," said D. Jatužis.

To symbolically seal the new head's decisions, the court president presented K. Latožienė with a pen.

Kristina Latožienė's experience as a judge spans almost twelve years. She has been working at the Panevėžys Regional Court since December 2023, where she hears criminal cases.

K. Latožienė gained leadership experience at the Utena District Court, where she worked for ten years. For five of those years, from 2018 to 2023, she served as the Deputy Chairman of that court.
