COURT INFORMATION SYSTEMS WILL BE TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE
By upgrading the Lithuanian Court Information System LITEKO, a more modern system – LITEKO II – has been developed. It is designed for the data management of non-procedural and procedural court documents and case processing, the public disclosure of court data, and the provision of electronic court services.
As of June 1, 2026, all courts and the National Courts Administration will begin using LITEKO II. To ensure a smooth transition, preparatory work for LITEKO is required to launch the upgraded LITEKO II. For this purpose:

From 4:00 PM on May 15 of this year until 8:00 AM on May 18 of this year, the public court data search tools (Public Search for Judgments, Public Search for Schedules, and the special court hearing schedule search for media representatives), the LITEKO system currently used by courts, and the Lithuanian courts electronic services portal e.teismas.lt will be unavailable.

From 5:00 PM on May 28 of this year until 8:00 AM on June 1 of this year, the public court data search tools (Public Search for Judgments, Public Search for Schedules, and the special court hearing schedule search for media representatives), the LITEKO system currently used by courts, and the Lithuanian courts electronic services portal e.teismas.lt will be unavailable.

IMPORTANT for users of e.teismas.lt
Following the upgrade from LITEKO to LITEKO II, changes will also affect users of the e.teismas.lt electronic services portal starting June 1. Users will be able to continue using the services of e.teismas.lt, view cases that are pending in courts before June 1 (including all related proceedings), and view cases that were resolved between January 1, 2023, and June 1 (including all related proceedings).
However, due to scheduled archiving, cases resolved prior to January 1, 2023 (including all related proceedings), will not be displayed in e.teismas.lt accounts. In the event that a user needs to review a case resolved in court before January 1, 2023, or obtain a copy of a judgment or other materials from such a case, e.teismas.lt users must submit a request directly to the court that resolved the case to issue a copy of the judgment or other document.
IMPORTANT. Due to the scheduled data migration from LITEKO to LITEKO II and its launch operations, e.teismas.lt users are kindly requested to complete the following in their accounts by 2:00 PM on May 28, 2026:

Review drafts of documents intended for the court and, if necessary, submit them to the court or save them to their local computer devices;

Pay any outstanding obligations or court fee payment tasks;

If necessary, save documents from cases resolved prior to January 1, 2023, to their local computer devices.
Please note that during the initial launch phase of LITEKO II, performance slow-downs, login issues, and disruptions to functionalities and integrations may occur across the information system, e.teismas.lt, and all public court data search tools. We kindly ask you to take this into account when planning your activities and to take organizational measures to ensure business continuity.
